CW lasers affect one’s visual impairment, while modulated lasers affect awareness and can, in some cases, induce a feeling of nausea. When operating simultaneously, the dazing effects are more devastating, yet can still be operated eye safe at all ranges. This patent pending simultaneous combination of CW and modulating lasing is unique to only the Dazer LaserTM. Daytime operation is mostly CW with slight modulation to overcome the small size of the pupil. Nighttime operation is equally CW and modulating which allows for even more effective Dazing.
